My art is naturalist with a tendency towards expressionism. I work in watercolor, acrylic, oil, and mixed media depending on what best suits the subject. Growing up on a small Missouri farm with forestland I was inspired by nature, which has become the predominant theme of my artwork.

I found my creative spirit at an early age, & I continued to work at it as I completed a B.B.A. in Business. Later I studied Visual Arts at Hope College & Kendall College of Art & Design in MI. I have also participated in art workshops & classes & feel fortunate to have studied with internationally known artist Ann Meade, DA.

My artwork is currently on display in Portsmouth Art & Cultural Center Gallery Shop and Arts of the Albermarle in Elizabeth City, NC. It is also in private collections in the United States and overseas.
