My art is naturalist with a tendency towards expressionism. I work in watercolor, acrylic, oil, and mixed media depending on what best suits the subject. Growing up on a small Missouri farm with forestland I was inspired by nature, which has become the predominant theme of my artwork.

I found my creative spirit at an early age, & I continued to work at it as I completed a B.B.A. in Business. Later I studied Visual Arts at Hope College & Kendall College of Art & Design in MI. After moving to Virginia, I worked in Business and freelanced as a Graphic Artist. I have also participated in art workshops & classes & feel fortunate to have studied with internationally known artist Ann Meade, DA.

My artwork is currently on display in Portsmouth Art & Cultural Center Gallery Shop in Portsmouth, VA, Arts of the Albermarle in Elizabeth City, NC, Ocean Art in Virginia Beach, VA and Cafe James in Norfolk, VA. It is also in private collections in the United States and overseas.
